Content Removal (Notice-Takedown)
Information within the Scope of Law No. 5651
The ŞikayetTR platform operates as a "Hosting Provider" within the scope of Law No. 5651 on "Regulation of Publications on the Internet and Combating Crimes Committed by Means of Such Publications."
According to the relevant law, hosting providers have no obligation to check, examine, or investigate whether there is an illegal activity regarding the content published by users on the platform in advance. All legal and penal responsibility of the content directly belongs to the user who created the content.
Notice and Takedown Principle
If you believe that any content (complaint, comment, claim, brand logo, etc.) on our platform violates your personal rights, harms your commercial reputation, infringes your copyrights, or is contrary to the law, you can contact us immediately within the framework of the "Notice and Takedown" principle.
When we receive a valid notice of violation, the content in question will be examined by our legal team within legal periods and will be removed from the platform if a violation of legislation/rules is detected.
How to Apply?
For us to process your content removal requests, please send an e-mail containing the following information completely to our legal contact address:
- Content Link: The exact link (URL) of the complaint or comment subject to the violation.
- Nature of Violation: Exactly what the violation is (Insult, defamation, trademark infringement, etc.) and your legal basis.
- Certificate of Authority: Document proving your Real/Legal person identity (Official document showing that you are a company official or legal representative).
- Contact Information: Your name, phone, and e-mail information so we can get back to you.
* Requests with missing information or made by unauthorized persons will not be considered. Your requests will be evaluated within 48 hours at the latest.
